Stephanie Wolmsley…wonder why she’s not ever been? Perhaps too expensive?! I think Maryanne Lowry could be great, also Marsha Firth (hubby works at Capernwray Bible College, she home eds). Jackie Austin has a quiet spirit, but a wealth of experience…perhaps she could share from her wisdom?

Andrea Darroch would be good for a workshop on helping special needs students. She has an autistic daughter and has researched lots of different resources as part of her journey. She and I (Val Robb) will be trying a new programme called Equipping Minds and we’d love to give a workshop highlighting that and other resources next year. It would be very hands-on and practical.

Sherry Boyd-home schooled her son in high school for a time, has an amazing testimony and a heart for reaching people for Christ, encouraging woman etc sherry@rscc.co.nz ph. 078278092
She would make a great key note speaker

Giving new people a chance with a workshop/panel may be a good way to train someone up. I was really impressed with the number of confident, capable, inspiring mums leading the talks and workshops.

I think Katrina Pereka could do some amazing cooking classes. I’ve known her for years and she always does amazing healthy food.

Nancy Cooke runs great workshops on using story telling to teach values etc to children cookeclan@xtra.co.nz ph 078277359

I don’t know if Fiona Taylor is gifted in speaking, or not (I think that’s her name – she organises the recording of sessions) but I have asked her for advice on home schooling in the past, and found her to be wise and godly, and I think it may be worth asking her.

Maryanne Klein-Ovink (she’s living in Tauranga at the moment), but she and her husband were missionaries in Turkey for a number of years, homeshooling their children there, and are now homeschooling the younger ones in NZ as they care for Adrian’s elderly parents.

Jenny Eirena – I heard her at the Northland HEART conference last year and on Saturday night last week. I liked what I heard. It is honest and real.

Annette Yeatman is my home group leader and has been home schooling for years. She is very prophetic and an incredible teacher of the word, I’d like to ask her to come to heart, I believe it would really bless the ladies. Email me if you’d like me to put you in touch c.hudson@slingshot.co.nz
